We actually had a nice sunny afternoon this past weekend with only a few moments of rain. So, seizing on the opportunity, Carl rented a tiller and started working up the garden plot at the new house. After about 5 hours of hard work, cutting down trees and weeds, raking away the dead weed trash on the ground, and running over the plot with the tiller about 8 times...we have a start on the garden! Then Lindsey showed up and wanted to expand it a little bit, so we added a few feet on one end. We're going to let it sit for about a week and then tear it up again and plant. Can't wait to start planting!
